I had not met Axel in person, but we had talked over the phone several times in late March and early April. I was hoping he might be interested in a position at an agency in Boston, and I thought he was.
I so enjoyed talking to him and going through his work – I am profoundly moved and sorry to hear this terrible news. I don’t even know who I can write a note to, so I’m sending it to this blog.
I don’t pretend to “know” Axel, but I can certainly say that he was talented and kind, and I’m so very sorry.
Sincerely,
Julie Weinman
